Mathematicians are generally P-types, physicists tend to be F-types I think. Erdos was P. Dyson was F. Non-sequitur thoughts vs natural and necessary thoughts. Prime numbers vs composite. Pointillist vs. connectionist ontologies. Pantone vs colorspaces. Outliers vs defaults.

I love this distinction. I’m realizing that I go from P type to F type between projects and sometimes within a project. Brain like a bouncy castle. But I need both gears. They work off each other.
