That is a great quote. Captures an important idea in a very precise way. Also sheds light on why Trump particularly grates on me. He doesn’t have a shred of sardonic in him. He cannot “move within himself” at all.
He makes rare statements that make it seem like he does, just intentionally hardly ever revealed.
Like, paraphrasing "I don't think so, but maybe when we have more data we can come back and I'll say I was wrong - let's be honest, I'm never gonna say that."
