Have you read Walden? The last chapter seems very reminiscent of my basic understanding of 'Raoism.' If you can control f a section, control f "I left the woods for as good a reason as I went there" and then read the next two paragraphs.

No, I never did. The premise and opening bits never did grab me. Those paragraphs are interesting but not really very resonant for me. It’s what I’d expect from Thoreau though. A basic sort of romantic idealism like the rest of New England transcendentalism.
