I didn’t think “slowing down with age” was a totally literal thing in most departments.
There are almost no exceptions outside of specific narrow skills where experience compounds faster than you age for a long time. The only broad thing I can do faster is judge people.

Or you were underdeveloped when you were younger. Hitting your ceiling later means peaking later, even if that ceiling was higher when you were young.

I have slowed down, though productivity has increased through discipline with focusing on the most important things as well as developing processes to work more efficiently (eg, not trying to respond to all emails ASAP).
