I have a 1750 edition of Plutarch's Lives with a library seal on it I traced back to a Jacobin who needed to flee London for Dublin in 1792 and was selling his books to arrange passage. Kindle can't get you that.

Can your paperback or Kindle books give you the same feeling as when you hold a book in your hand that was owned, handled and personally inscribed "EX LIBRIS Thomas Jefferson"... inside the front cover... in his own handwriting? That, I doubt very seriously.

I’d sell them all and buy kindle or cheap new paper editions if I actually wanted the books.
