More general, just focusing on the physical/phenomenological detail level in general on every subject rather than the conceptual level. I’m descending down abstraction hierarchy. Going unmeta.

It's funny. I feel like I'm more meeting in the middle. I've done physical for a long-time, abstract for a while, but now the abstractions (strategy, orgs, mgmt, finance, etc.) now feel more like concrete tools and the question is one of honing skills / confidence in their use.

The middle is the most important place but also the most boring place 😆 Similar to “amateurs talk about strategy and tactics, professionals talk about logistics” You’re a natural pro. I’m a natural amateur. Solving for importance vs fun.

Yea, it's an interesting trade off I run into. My personal goals usually boil down to reading / writing my ideas more, but then duty calls. It's two incompatible cadences: thinking fast or slow. My slow thinking usually is about the fast - haha.
