Like this cheap cat toy that jerks a feather around randomly. Cat is bored with it, so thought of opening it up to try and either improve it or scavenge it for parts but I can’t see any way to do it without breaking it. repair-hostile is usually manufacturing or form factor efficient, but I'm not sure there's specifically a word for it as it's not really a goal unto itself - it just comes out of prioritizing those other goals
