ehh you can buy lots of equipment from biosurplus.com, not having a fume hood or vac line kinda sucks but you can improvise
main issue is being flagged by the DEA

It kinda is... the regulations don’t exist in a vacuum. They exist because it’s also a lot more dangerous. It’s easier to create serious risks with chemistry than with mechanical or electrical hardware.
