If you had 1000 sq feet of cheap, well-located industrial workspace in a fairly dense urban area, what equipment would you put in and what would you do? Assume you can’t be in the food/dark-kitchen business and that supplies you need from China/Amazon continue to flow smoothly.

I imagine this as taking an ordinary small store on Main St. and at most ripping up weak flooring, replacing with well-leveled concrete, taking out any low false ceiling, and improving the ventilation somehow. Add natural light if possible, and some minimal soundproofing maybe.

There's a lot you can do with that size space. Subziwalla has been operating grocery delivery in close to that size through peak COVID and expanded shipments nationally as well.
