Off the top of your head, what is the most ridiculous but not obviously impossible device or gadget you’d design and build if you had engineers and technicians helping you? Ie just the idea/basic operating concept...

I'm interested in building a machine that makes bubble wrap but doesn't cost the industry standard price of >$4k. Bubble wrap (and bubble wrap machines) are so expensive (for air and plastic!) (Generally interested in turning factory equipment into affordable consumer products.)pic.twitter.com/zUNgqrXW4O

How much do the boba heat sealing machines cost? Maybe one can be modified to make bubble wrap at commodity prices?

It looks doable? Feed in 2 rolls of plastic instead of 1, inject air somehow, increase the feed rate so it does a light seal between the plastic sheets.pic.twitter.com/HpyRJaYzL5

Oh impulse heat sealers are super cheap! ~$30. Heat coil + timed pressure. (Boba sealer is also an inflated price.)
