Goddammit. Second time I’ve dropped something off my balcony while doing some observing, first it was a telescope dust cap, now it’s my SLR remote. Fell into the fenced in property next door. Last time it fell on the roof of a low building. This time it bounced off to ground.

Hypothetical here. Would you retrieve the dropped remote from your future mansion balcony?

Yes because I’d own everywhere it could fall to. The robot butler could easily retrieve it.

Update: Got it back. It was a bit of a milquetoast cyberpunk adventure. Might blog it.

I’m 3D printing a replacement cap, but the remote is $21 so worth some effort to try and retrieve.
