My cat was stuck hard to the build plate and when I applied more force it came off but left this thin bottom layer. How do I get it off?pic.twitter.com/X27XCv6Iwl

palette knife
there's usually a scraper included with the printer, another option is to put blue tape on the print bed and peel the prints off with the tape.
It’s a little plastic one that doesn’t seem to work. This is on really tight. I bought tape but decided to try this on the plate directly
Palette knife. Magnetic beds allow you to lift off the magnetic portion for easier removal.
wiggle a xacto or palette knife to get some separation at the edges and then apply force with a paint scrapper
you need more force than you think
It’s called a raft. It’s intended to help with bed adhesion, which is much less of an issue with a heated print bed. There‘s a way to turn it off in the print settings. I would only go to the trouble of using one if I saw that a print was warping.
We would get it off with a spackling knife, but that might damage the surface too, I'm sure the manufacture has a recommendation.
unless you have a heated build plate, we would normally apply a layer of blue painters tape to the plate. it will print on top of that and then you peel the tape off and the raft/excess comes off. or buy a heated build plate.
