Is there any good writing on non-Chimerica globalization models? Seems like that’s a 3rd way. One that’s not dangerously dependent on either China as alpha producer or the US as alpha consumer OR regressing to protectionist nationalism.

NAM was mainly pretending to be non-aligned to play the US and USSR off against each other a bit. It didn’t work very well. India was basically Soviet bloc lite.
