What is the most detail-oriented activity you enjoy?
Where there’s a huge number of details to get right and you just have to patiently work through all of them, and you either genuinely enjoy it or it feels like a soul-crushing grind?
Driving - underrated and automated for so many people. Many moving parts. In love with every change of gear, pressing the clutch, braking and down shifting even just starting the car and watching the rpm settle down to ~900. Oh just taking about it is turning me on 🤩
It's possible to do financial spreadsheets with a low attention to detail. And in much the same way a low attention to detail will most likely not matter at all but can in rare cases have disastrous consequences.
