I'm beginning to think this "elder blog" stance is confusing things. It's not a function of ribbonfarm being old. It's a function of having a young mind and grokking the new thing fast. Angorwatification is coming everywhere. Fast.

Not really. It’s a coincidence that some patterns overlap with what newer sites are doing, but the presence of 13 years and a couple of million words of context make what I’m doing necessarily different. What you, Toby, Aaron etc are doing has far less baggage to contend with.

That’s my point. I’m not doing that and don’t want to. The new game is for new players. I’m mainly considering how to evolve what I have naturally, not responding to future possibilities. I’m just coincidentally “with it” for a while and will likely drift off again soon.
