get in on the fun venkat :-) for what it's worth, I think it's a mistake to view this as a purely nostalgic or web 1.0 phenomenon. the more interesting projects are bringing ux ideas developed in web2.0 era back out of the platforms to individual sites

these new developments all take for granted the presence of things like slacks and discords as a main place discourse and ideas are generated, this gives us some fundamentally new assumptions / behaviors / product ideas
