Thought I’ve been pondering. The lower left of the political compass (left libertarian) is unique in not having a clear definition or caricatured archetype. Left-authoritarian: actual Stalin Right-authoritarian: actual Hitler Right-libertarian: Ayn Randians Left-libertarian: ?

Please do. Would like to hear your thoughts here. Basic rights, income/wealth redistribution, health care- liberal interpretations of govt role here seems to clash with Libertarian. I suspect I’m LL but probably not a coherent ethos. Govt has a role. People should be free.

I feel like a goob suggesting you read a Chompsky, but his ideas on politics fit the quadrant well. Consider checking out On Anarchy.

Please do dude... You're a smart guy... Start prob is, if left unorganized do we not form hierarchies anyway? If left means anything in this quadrant my sense is that it means something very different to how it is normally used.
