Lots of people would if the alternative is COVID, I suspect. Many people are already taking intravenous meds daily to survive. This doesn’t seem that different.
Isn't the point that there is no permanent herd immunity? You can create temporary herd immunity with a vaccine whenever an outbreak occurs. That's better than temporary immunity by getting the disease.

1) Diabetics (like my late grandpa) used to have to stab themselves with insulin daily (sometimes more than once).
2) You were just saying that there won't be lasting herd immunity, because there won't be lasting individual immunity? Did I misunderstand?
