I had multiple monitors for years. Converted back to a single 24" a few years ago: 1. Could keep/develop consistent shortcut habits on laptop and multiple desktops. 2. Width based on limit of my comfortable eye scan. Any larger monitor would have required neck rotation.

Portrait monitors! - pic.twitter.com/kQfUUr5POp Been using this setup for nearly 4 years now, and no intention of changing. Loads of vertical space. Minimal neck rotation required. Side monitor feels just as useable as the one that's straight ahead of me.

I bought a 34“ curved widescreen for WFH and it just won’t stop sparking joy. Zero hedonistic adaption on this purchase.

Large is 30" at least. 24" is normal. 13" is small bordering on tiny.

Your screen is the most important thing in your human/computer interface. Spend more on your screen than on your computer. These days that question is moot. Your screen is your computer.
