Every once in a while, I have to review a huge, complex spreadsheet and I tell myself I need a proper large monitor. A 13" screen just doesn't cut it.

IMHO multiple large monitors are the closest thing to technological intelligence enhancement currently available

I had multiple monitors for years. Converted back to a single 24" a few years ago:
1. Could keep/develop consistent shortcut habits on laptop and multiple desktops.
2. Width based on limit of my comfortable eye scan. Any larger monitor would have required neck rotation.

I bought a 34“ curved widescreen for WFH and it just won’t stop sparking joy. Zero hedonistic adaption on this purchase.

Your screen is the most important thing in your human/computer interface. Spend more on your screen than on your computer.
These days that question is moot. Your screen is your computer.
