My personal Covid reboot starter question is: what kinds of clients do I want/not want to work with now? Looking at my current clients, they are all intuitively “keep” but I don’t know why. In fact all but 2 clients from last decade (out of 40 odd) pass post-Covid-fitness test.

Re-check... 4.25 fail the test, not 2 (0.25 via 2nd order client) Fitness checklist 1. Right side of s/w eats world 2. Right side of climate 3. Owns its globalization stake (trade-war proof) 4. Low bullshit fraction 5. Leaders actually lead 6. Not primarily a government vendor

I’ve never directly done work for govt, and the indirect gigs have been unpleasant. Not a strict rule, but I tend to default-no gigs where govt is ultimate buyer. This rule is 3x strength post Covid but likely also 3x harder to stick to. Economy is turning into a public utility.
