It’s gonna be a very high debt world for a very long time. Individualism is going to get much harder, as you get fewer public services in return for higher taxes, which means more forced mutualism. TANLFL. Lots of free lunches piling up that will need to be paid for.

It's almost as though all the "individualists" were actually dependent on more socially functional members of the society they claim doesn't exist to survive. Curious!

Or debt jubilee and ???, and/or MMT and ???, or system collapses under own weight and crypto???. You might enjoy amazon.com/Price-Tomorrow the global debt to growth ratios are highly unfavorable. Like 5:1 IIRC and snowballing.
Think pandemic but for money: networks get rocked.

I don’t know. I’d bet increasingly underground and inefficient ungoverned economy (black markets) but not crypto-based. Crypto is too easy for existing financial institutions to control.

Have the dumb theory that the big countries/banks are gonna get together post-covid and just erase a bunch of debt.
I mean its all a fantasy we built. A bunch of poor countries will get a chance to grow and thrive, unrestrained. Which scares rich people.
