Interesting emerging and data that extended families and family/friends contact is the emerging big vector. People are wary around strangers and let their guard down with family and friends. Clear example of the limits of tribalism as a lazy affiliational decision mode.

You’re likely right. Possible counterpoint is that we are more likely to believe a family member if they attest to have been social distancing / wearing masks. High social cost to lying that results in an adverse outcome. No social cost w/o tribal relationship.
