I would really love to see someone write a Lord of the Rings-style epic story about the rationalist online community. The chapters are already there: The LessWrong Diaspora The Last Stand of Ribbonfarm The Battle of SlateStarCodex and the NYT What would other chapters be?

Don't get me wrong I love ribbonfarm but it's way more "weaponized contrarianism" than lesswrong.
