Primary life bottleneck now is chronic eyestrain from too much indoor time and failure to acquire suitable visual hygiene habits like 20-20-20 (stare >20 feet away for 20 sec every 20 min). Even if I did that I don’t think it would be enough. Need long unmasked walks 🤓🤬

I'd imagine bright background lights might help with this. I'm building some with .
Indoor environments are about 1% as bright as being outdoors.

get yourself a cheap LED studio light rated for about 60 to 200W, ideally with customizable color temp, and just point it to the ceiling. surprisingly changes mood and quality of life. they were insanely expensive but now like 100x cheaper ($150-300 not $20,000)

Still not clear to me what’s causing the strain: indoor light levels or the lack of long-distance focusing

both. with dilated pupils eyes have to focus much more precisely. also check your humidity, maybe they just dry out

i have Godox SL60W (cool blue) and LEDP260C (30W 3300K-5600K tunable), both were around $150, tested with spectrometer, was kinda impressed. don’t buy the 200W version it has noisy fan lol

lol first time really. there’s just really not a lot of good lighting setups to choose from, and the lighting itself is pretty universal worldwide because, you know, physics 😂 so its only natural we arrived to the same conclusions
