New hypothesis: protests caught extra fire this time, with serious support from non-black groups, because Covid revealed that “the API” is more color-blind than older structures, putting a more mixed “below the API” group at risk in ways mainly black people were at risk before.

To be clear I think this is a long term good thing for the world. My goal is to generally consult for such robot companies and/or invest in their stock if I can. Nobody should be below the API unless they actually enjoy being there for whatever reason.
