“I cut the cake, you pick your half” is basically the only good political idea anyone has ever had. Everything else is either derived from that, or self-serving behavior dressed up to look like an idea.
Politics is definitionally zero sum in my philosophy. That’s in fact the best-case scenario since it’s usually negative sum. Positive-sum history generally takes new technological forces operating.
In my view trade agreements are political, and generally positive-sum. Unifying the national language is political, and positive-sum. Choosing a better voting mechanism is political, and positive-sum. In your view are each of these not political or not positive sum?
