Is digital garden a creation/curation style, design pattern, or an arcgitecture that fits some platforms better than others? Thoughts @tomcritchlow @Mappletons etc?
I covered static sites in my text renaissance post but not digital gardens since I don’t yet have a sense of it

Most digital gardens I've seen use an export to static site. I feel as though the main distinction is that posts are linked together better than most blogs and have less of a feeling of permanence, so the authors generally don't feel as much pressure for perfection.

Not sure if the term "digital garden" is needed, it's essentially a public personal wiki. I'm noticing some common conventions are arising for the "genre," mainly around exploratory browsing.
