Also I think I ruined blue-light coating on my glasses by cleaning them with alcohol several times before realizing it is damaging. Now I use soap and water foe when I come back from outdoor excursions and glasses are lava.

Do you use any blue-light-blocking apps (f.lux) or glasses (Pixel)? I've used the latter for the last two years and have felt a dramatic reduction in eyestrain.

I switched to sitting 7' away a few weeks ago -- zero eyestrain. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/best/by-size/48-49-50-inch … are great enough as computer monitors now.
