I "retired" 17 years ago. Continuously busy with community volunteering and hobby coding. Creativity does not retire, it has to flow. It finds other outlets; make them compassionate.

I’ve come at this from the opposite direction. If I take retirement off the table I have no reason to put anything off. Life is now. As a plausible, undesirable outcome it’s a motivator to find flexible, sustainable ways of living and contend with the fact that ability changes.

Then, you need to ask yourself what makes you feel so? Is what you are doing right now not enjoyable anymore? Even if enjoyable are you getting constrained in ways and means by others? What if the solution lay in getting rid of those pesky irritants than think retirement?
