My @basicmansion project is delayed "waste more time" project. Really weird to think of wasting time as a project that can get delayed. But @scorpioseasontv is helping me waste time properly though.
I have to waste at least 30% of my time to make the other 70% interesting

Wasted time is my highest value time. I think it's become hard for practical reasons. For example, my 2 favorite ways to do it -- taking long walks and letting my mind wander, and sitting with a blank notebook in Starbucks to randomly core dump are difficult/impossible right now

But there's also an inner constraint. Something about quarantine conditions prevents time from flowing freely enough to be wasted at all. It's boxed in. All time is either time-boxed or inaccessible.

Creative output has not ever been linear. Productivity porn just makes a fetish out of the idea that constant output is valuable

not talking about that really... I've never been addicted to productivity porn. Anti-addicted in fact. But wasting time is not the same thing as resisting the productivity urge. It's a positive urge in its own right that takes practice to develop into a stable habit.

Funny... I tend to read about how creative individuals impose artificial constraints and work within them.
