Been thinking about this more. What is the most interesting effort/resource factor you most willing to waste in pursuing a project right now? I think for me it is imagination. I’m willing to keep brainstorming until I find a creative tack.

No matter what the challenge or environment, I've found that basically the only way to tackle it in a generative way is to come at it with an attitude of abundance. There must be some X factor you're willing to simply waste in responding to the challenge.

A stable identity. I think now is a great time to try reinventing oneself in different ways since there’s so much chaos in general.

paper. maybe not that interesting but I have to fight years of "saving the trees" programming to put enough ink down to really figure out an idea. I also waste a lot of code but that costs a lot fewer electrons to write than does to run

My predilection for cold contacting people. People are successful, but I’ve been on lots of teams where everyone is afraid to ask for resources outside of the team. Outside of the organization. I just emailed somebody at NASA last night to ask for two spots on a CubeSat project.

Conversations. When an interesting idea for a project enters my head, I usually run it down by inflicting it on the people around me. Often just the next 2-3 good friends that I meet, plus 2-3 intentionally selected people. Helps me refine the idea and build energy.
