He got good pretty late in his career right? Post Moneyball, Benjamin Button?

it's the other way. Brad Pitt's looks are overrated because he's a good actor.

Favorite thing about him is that he takes his craft seriously. And not in a too self centered self important way. Just wants to be good at what he does.

He’s won some Oscars for it. I thought we always have a natural desire to associate positive things with good-lookers. When does attractive as bimbo end and attractive as aspiration begin?

I hated his performances in Seven, Legends of the Fall, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, so I underrated him big time. But he really crushed it in _so_ many movies — Fight Club, Inglourious, Once Upon, Burn After Reading, 12 Monkeys, Moneyball, True Romance, and others...he’s fantastic

So long as he doesn't have to do any true dramatic heavy lifting, and he's mostly comedic, he's fantastic. He has improved dramatically, if you will, in his dramatic performances as well though. Nothing is better than his True Romance performance.
