Pulse oximeters are very easy to build; you just need a photodiode, red LED, IR LED, and op-amp. Don’t expect supply chain problems personally but who knows

Full disclosure I had one leftover from prototyping, but if I didn’t I would buy one! They’re very cheap, tail-risk assessment lines up
