Yes. I remember not understanding how they worked until I saw someone do it and explain what they were doing. Granted I was about 8 but they were a mystery until I saw it done

Most things not covered by biology or evolution are "unintuitive," but lots of useful things are so learnable that you watch someone do once or twice and you "have it". A puzzle is just something you haven't seen performed yet. Climbers have two categories, "onsight" & "redpoint"
