Trump just launched a super-belligerent defensive attack on a CBS reporter who made the mistake of asking an openly hostile question while being an Asian woman.

Not my imagination. I generally reach for any non-racial explanation first, but he systematically increasingly belligerent on the obvious spectrum from white male to black female journalist. I think it’s unconscious though. He’s an unreconstructed product of the 50s.

The trick to catching him off guard is to ask him a dangerous question that looks like praise at first glance, while being an older white male. Then he gets comfortable and slips up.

If I were running a newsroom, I’d only send older white men to the briefings

This is the most hostile briefing I’ve seen. Unbelievably toxic.

“CDC had obsolete tests, broken tests...”
?!
This is one weird thing he keeps repeating. The virus didn’t even exist in the Obama administration.
Okay, I’m out. Daily spiritual training listening to the Dictator Drone done. Anger tank topped back up to full where I want it.

The reporters all ask uniformly bad or bad-faith questions, but he’s fundamentally a bad person. Not an ounce of grace. Just seething fury that he is being seen for exactly what he is and treated accordingly.

Those who accuse us anti-trumpers of trump derangement syndrome ain’t seen nothing yet. You will see us hold on to the memory of this shitshow era for decades. We will not be forgetting it, or letting you off the hook for enabling it for decades.

For New Yorkers, it has been deeply upsetting seeing our local village idiot con the country into thinking he’s anything other than a vicious,
worthless parasite
