Money as compensation for work is an absurd mental model to have right now. Go brrr is changing the fundamental meaning of money. I don’t know what it means anymore.

Go brrr is a meme. Money is real and has only gotten more valuable recently

Well, 'money as a scarse resource' concept is facing a hard time.

Understanding the USD vs money vs other currency gives a person the ability to play the game with cheat codes. Also allows boxing in those that don't get it. "Your tax dollars blah blah" or "We can't pay for it unless you give up x"

        WaterHorse Consulting Retweeted Crooked Timbre

William I Thompson had some useful ways of thinking about the changing nature of money:https://twitter.com/Timber_22/status/1183802965473157120?s=20 …

The Federal reserve can at will produce an unlimited number of dollars to buy whatever it wants, while you a peasant have to toil long and hard for a few crumbs.
