Don’t even know how to begin thinking about such conditions. And these are almost certainly all people with the smallest cash buffers, employed in the lowest margin industries.

Rising conflicts between the have and have-nots worsened by a tidal-wave of debt and non-debt obligations (pensions, healthcare, etc.) coming due. Financial markets rebounding from aggressive stimulus widens the wealth gap.
How we handle this will test our resolve as a society.

Yes, people who could and will quite literally starve to death, freeze/overheat, die from lack of meds, die from lack of dental care, die from complications related to stress, and so on. What are we going to do about it?
