A single crow has been mobbing and harassing some sort of hawk all by itself most of today outside my balcony. It’s hilarious. Normally you see a bunch of crows or other smaller birds mobbing raptors, but this crow decided it could do it alone. The hawk mostly ignored it.

I took this awesome photo of the hawk with my phone THROUGH my high-powered binoculars! It was a bitch to pull off

Can anyone tell what kind of hawk this is?

Aside: I’ve never noticed a hawk around here. I think it’s the lack of pollution.

This makes me think it’s nit a peregrine. The wings are not pointy (I’ve seen it in flight)
