Saw a guy do some wild/dangerous driving today, well outside normal range of bad/asshole driving. I’m guessing 50-50 chance he was racing for an emergency or because low enforcement and low traffic has created a moral hazard.

Also asshole loud music neighbor us at it again 😭
And now apartment management is in poor-responsiveness mode (emergency has given them cover to shirk many unpleasant responsibilities)... and I’m not going over AGAIN to complain. Did it twice and it’s clearly in escalate mode

This thing has created certain unpleasant and antisocial social/moral licensing effects.
Pandemic-mode = permission and excuse to be an asshole in some ways as fewer things get enforced 🤬

If there was a concierge service that relayed issues to your landlord, would you sign up?

What do you mean? I emailed them and could go speak to them. How would a concierge add value? They would have no extra leverage.
