The sadness of all this starting to hit. Not just the immediate tragedy but the sense of the relatively happier world of the last few decades coming to an end. A sort of third age of middle earth coming to an end feeling.
see later in thread... judgment passed by others is kinda irrelevant. I'm talking about how we each reconcile things individually, so this is a solipsistic standard of culpability

not worth squabbling over, but again, I disagree, we are both subject to our own judgments of ourselves, and others' judgments of us, and our judgments of others, and others' judgments of others. perception matters a lot. it determines what set of actions will be considered.

Just because you’re sent to prison or even hanged doesn’t mean you accept/feel guilt. Just because we try to shame trump for virus response and attribute blame to him, doesn’t mean he accepts it or feels guilt/responsibility. We’re talking about different things.
