A morbidly fascinating thing about this economic crisis which is unlike any other I’ve experienced or read about, is the extent to which we’re rerouting economy en masse around stuck bits rather than accepting slow/stuck flows. Not just isolated improvisation patches.

idk; my working model is basically 50-60% multi-national virtual meetings even before this. so hasn't been that big a switch for some fields

It will be interesting to see how many places stick with it when this is all over. I work in government so I think I’ll be stuck going back to the office eventually, but this fully remote thing is addicting. I get 7-8 hours of sleep without even trying, make my own healthy meals

The only shitty thing is I can’t use the extra time to go to the gym because it’s obviously closed. But the dog gets many more walks so it’s working out. Will be hard to go back to driving in every day...
