Since I’ve mainly experimented with episodic function so far, with part n posted before part n+1 is conceived, I end up in a hard ratchet version of the pantser side of plotter/pantser divide. I’ve found improv a better approach to trying to plan the Chekhov-gunning too much

not sure what the chekhov gun of theoretical writing would be, except the conclusion offered up first and the rest an examination of the pieces and parts that made up the conclusion. which, tbh, i kind of prefer to meandering
