Catalina only supports 64bit applications; beware, it might bork older applications

Not if your must-have apps are still stuck at 32-bit.

I upgraded hoping to use the iPad sidecar thing but turns out 2015 is too old. No noticeable complaints tho

Upgrade to Mojave, it's solid. Catalina seems a lot more iffy right now.

Absolutely not. Catalina will sure run better on your i5 than then i3 I stupidly got, but it eliminates support for all 32-but apps. Which means that I just bricked virtually every Mac app I've ever bought. I'm furious and drinking even more heavily now.

Works great on my 2015 i7. Don't expect to get sidecar, expect to lose some old apps (many games and utorrent), expect to have to reinstall steam. I also lost support for my old graphics tablet. But upgrade was worth it.pic.twitter.com/imFu98krUU
