There’s no vaccine because there was no economic incentive. Nobody predicted SARS-2. If Covid19 holds out long enough, there might well be a breakthrough.

IF this happens. My guess is will be legally shut down. But if it does, the more interesting second order effect is does it lead to a Second Great Awokening: "oh NOW I get what it's like to treated as second class for no reasons of my own"?

Would probably need serological testing for that no? I know there are some in development but I don't know how long they are likely to take. Would have to come before the vaccine for what you mention I would think.
