I have never seen so many math-avoiders do so much math in such a short period. That’s a small silver lining here. People are doing at least basic arithmetic. Some are even learning about log scales

control theory is also very useful in understanding you should be very careful w poorly-understood non-linear systems w highly sensitive parameters esp when all you have is weak and much-delayed feedback

Can you give some examples where you are forced to feel exponential functions? My guess would be NP-complete problems or just inefficient algorithms to problems in P, but maybe you're thinking of something else.
