The Chloroquine death story is more complex. Guy took aquarium clear which skid has same active ingredient (Chloroquine phosphate) but apparently the human dosing has narrow margin for error. The fish version is more forgiving I guess. vin.com/apputil/conten

I think it was chloroquine phosphate rather than chloroquine sulfate. Beyond that, I do not know.

The fish form comes in a powder rather than a tablet. Based on what I've seen, the issue is not so much the chloroquine concentration in the body, but processing it. The powder form gets processed all at once, which may increase toxicity.
