Well not the airline business. Military is a different LOB except for the tankers which are airliner derivatives.

If by "nationalizing" you mean "given a trillion dollars while politicians complain theatrically" then yes.

Boeing will end up in Bankruptcy Court. Shareholders will get wiped out, lenders will take a haircut and Microsoft (w/ Uncle Sam’s encouragement) will buy it for a song. First decision will be to move Boeing headquarters back to Seattle.

Bailout inevitably but key to watch will be if funding includes buyback of distressed shares vs. infusing capital back into accelerated manufacturing. If learned anything from ‘08, buyback far less effective for Boeing to build more efficiently & bounce back than buying stock.
