if a unit of history is a hist (let's say 9/11 was 1000 hists), then probably the average human can only tolerate about 20,000 hists in a lifetime before deciding there's way too much shit and check out and retreat under a rock. I might be at 15,000 hists so far.

I’m jettisoning hists as fast as i can to make room for new ones. It helps to exclaim “nobody could possibly have foreseen _____!” while doing so
