I have dumbbells but lazy about using them tbf. Prefer barbell at gym. Al so no room in tiny apartment for weight bench.

Wall squats: put your back on the wall and bend your knees, keeping your back on the wall. Every 15 seconds, slide your back further down, until your knees are 90°, no further.

Great idea. I didnt start exercising till my mid 30s and i regret not doing it earlier. I suggest trying to exercise without the tv going. I treat my exercise time as sacred. Perhaps a form of meditation. I try my best to focus on the muscles being engaged along with breathing.

Might just be personal preference....but I think doing it while watching tv makes it a chore. For me...it's a break from everything. TV, socializing, stewing over work/relationships. Using distractions to get thru it also diminishes the intrinsic value that can be derived.
