So many times, but what is an example of not a startup but not free-agent for generic higher freedom? I quit a very nice position producing video for a land developer in TX to move to NYC and attend

Honestly, I treated it like a startup though. And I think that has helped a lot both in managing my mood/nerves, and in my focus/strategy.

I left reinsurance modeling to go to grad school for public policy, so I could do something better for the world than help reinsurance companies evade regulation. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do, but that still counts, right?
